The Look of Silence

"This documentary is not to be missed."

Powerful, tragic, and terribly sad. 1,000,000 innocent people (or more) were slaughtered by the military and believers in political Islam in Indonesia in 1965. What happens when mass murderers get away with their crimes, remain in power 50 years later, and rewrite history to make themselves out to be heroes? Here you see them confronted and invited to consider and respond regarding their actions… and the results are both fascinating and disheartening. This documentary is not to be missed.
