This movie uses the same old boxing tropes of a down and out boxer who rises to the occasion. I’m exhausted of this formula. Creed only gets interesting when Rocky enters the movie. I didn’t care for Adonis and his story – I just wanted to know more about what was going on in Rocky’s life. Stallone is the one that shines here and he should would the Oscar for supporting actor. However, the fight sequences are well done and there is some real emotion in this film. Fighting movie better than this? – Warrior
