As a horror geek, I was a little hesitant about this comedy/horror film. Wrongfully so, this was really very entertaining. Great cast. The jock was my favorite. Laugh out loud stuff here. If you grew up in the 80’s you’d love this even more. The daughter of a deceased movie star agrees to attend the anniversary showing of her two most famous films…slashers. A fire in the theater sends her and her friends cutting a hole through the screen and crawling to safety…they think. Alas, all that does is take them into the movie, where they have to remember the story and help the script to its conclusion in order to escape. All in all, it’s a delight of a movie, definitely different, original and satirical, and one that can be watched multiple times.
